Neurotech Mastermind Inquire

A confidential peer advisory group for founders and executives in neurotechnology

Your board can't help you here.

Investors evaluate your performance. Advisors give generic guidance. Your board has its own agenda. None of them are building what you're building.

The problem with the room you're already in

Every founder has advisors. Very few have peers.

Investors

Board

Want reassurance

None of them are in the same daily reality as you — navigating clinical validation, FDA pathways, IP strategy, and fundraising while leading a team. Who helps you make the difficult decisions? Who challenges your assumptions without an agenda?

Neurotech Mastermind is the room that changes that: a curated group of 4–6 founders, meeting biweekly in strict confidence, to work through challenges that only true peers can address.

Questions

What members want to know before they apply.

What is Neurotech Mastermind?

A confidential peer advisory community for neurotechnology founders and executives. At its core is the Mastermind cohort — 4–6 leaders who meet biweekly for six months to work through real strategic decisions, guided by experienced moderators and invited experts.

Who is the program designed for?

Founders, CEOs, and senior executives actively building a neurotechnology company — from early stage through commercial growth — who are directly involved in strategic decision-making.

Why only 4–6 participants?

Trust doesn't scale. A small group means real time for every member, deep familiarity with each other's businesses, and honest discussion larger groups can't sustain. Members also join a wider community through annual in-person gatherings across cohorts.

How are participants selected?

By application or nomination. We weigh company stage, leadership experience, geographic diversity, complementary expertise, potential competitive overlap, and willingness to contribute — not seniority alone.

Will I be placed with competitors?

No. Every applicant is screened to avoid direct competitors within the same cohort, and we ask each prospective member to flag any companies or individuals that wouldn't be an appropriate fit.

How are the sessions structured?

Sessions are held virtually every two weeks, professionally facilitated by JoJo Platt and Pawel Soluch, and run 60–90 minutes covering member updates, current strategic challenges, and clear commitments before the next meeting. Once a month, one member gets a Spotlight Session — a deep dive into a specific leadership or company challenge. The one in-person gathering is the annual executive retreat.

Is it confidential?

Completely. Sessions are never recorded, and we don't allow AI meeting assistants or note-taking tools into any session. What's discussed in the room stays in the room.

What role do guest experts play?

Roughly every third session, we bring in specialists — in regulatory affairs, clinical development, fundraising, and other areas relevant to the cohort's current challenges. Guest experts join as educators, not to sell — sessions are designed around your needs, not a pitch.

Why is there a participation fee?

Commitment matters — members who invest show up consistently, prepare thoughtfully, and contribute more, which benefits everyone in the room. The fee also supports the significant preparation behind every session, the guest experts we bring in, and the annual in-person retreat.

Can I renew after six months?

Yes. Six months gives enough continuity for real accountability and progress, and at the end of each cohort you can continue into the next cycle — or request a different cohort if you'd benefit from a new set of peers.
